Heart disease is the fourth leading cause of death in Hong Kong. According to data from the Centre for Health Protection, heart disease accounted for 11% of all deaths in 2011.

Cholesterol is primarily categorized into low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol. Low-density cholesterol, often referred to as 'bad cholesterol,' is a major contributor to coronary heart disease.

Suitable for People who are interested in healthy diet to manage high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol. 

A 2019 meta-analysis study* showed that nutritional diet therapy can help improve multiple vitality indexes, including: 

-    lower bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein) by 20%
-    Reduce triglycerides by 22% 

High Cholesterol Management (3 Sessions): To be used within 3 months

The first consultation lasts approximately 45 minutes, followed by two healthy eating follow-up sessions, each lasting about 35 minutes.
(Consultation varies due to individual needs):

  • Lifestyle, dietary habit and medical history questionnaire
  • A bioelectrical impedance analysis: weight, height, body fat and muscle mass, BMI and basal metabolic rate
  • Recommendation on cholesterol lowering foods.
  • Review dietary and exercise records
  • Revise dietary recommendations according to your needs
  • Nutrition education: Informative handouts, food products recommendations and nourishing recipes will be provided
